JCILPS insists on time frame

The JCILPS Manipur has demanded that the special session of the Manipur Legislative scheduled on July 15 should adopt a resolution to introduce and pass a Bill which can protect indigenous people of Manipur from incessant influx within a specific time frame.
The next course of protest movement would be decided based on the resolution adopted at the special session, said a press release issued by JCILPS assistant media coordinator Md Kheiruddin Shah Moijingmayum.
It also conveyed solidarity to all the people who suffered casualties and fatality in the course of the mass movement for protection of indigenous people.
The committee then appealed to all doctors and nurses who are attending to wounded protesters to pay special attention to them.
The JCILPS has opened a hotline for extending assistance to people who have been wounded in the course of the ongoing protest movement.
