Imphal, June 12 2025:
The Co-ordinating Committee on Disturbance Free Educational Zone Demand has issued an appeal to all to refrain from causing disruptions during the BA, BSc and BCom 6th semester exams set to begin from June 13 conducted by Manipur University.
A press release issued by Mayengbam Somorjit, president, DESAM and convenor of the Committee, highlighted the importance of the exam stating that the students can apply for PG courses at different universities based on their CUET scores only after passing their 6th semester exams.
Any delays in the conduct of the 6th semester exam and subsequent delays in the result announcement can disrupt students' academic career.
In view of the restive situation in the State, the Committee has issued an appeal to all organisations and citizens to refrain from organising protests that can hamper academic activities.
It further urged the authorities responsible for conducting exams to take steps to ensure that such exams remain unaffected.
