DC Jiribam urges DLOs to focus on performance

Jiribam, May 12 2025: District Level Officers' meeting was held today at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner Office, Jiribam under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Krishna Kumar, IAS.

During the meeting, Krishna Kumar reviewed various schemes and programmes taken up by different line departments through power point presentations.

The DC stated that the small initiatives taken up by each officer could help in the holistic development of the District.

He added also that each and every staff should station in their place of posting and provide their services upto every possible extent to the whole area of the district.

The Deputy Commissioner also highlighted that emphasis should be given to both Jiribam and Borobekra Sub-Division.

Highlighting that the District Administration is always ready to provide every possible help, the DC further stated that any officer should bring to the notice of the District Administration if they lace any issue while rendering their services including law and order challenges.

He also asserted that awareness of every scheme and programme should be prioritized and emphasized on organizing awareness programmes in convergence of relevant Departments in different areas of the district including Borobekra Sub- Division so as to make the public aware about the new schemes and programmes of the Government rather that confining to their respective offices and also the respective line Departments can make use of Social Networks in spreading awareness, he added.

The meeting was attended by SP Jiribam, Shaikh Mohd.

Zaib Zakir, Sub-Divisional Officer, Jiribam/Borobekra, Laishram Tarajeet Singh, BDOs, SDCs and other district level officers of various departments.
