SfF hosts 'Yarou Sangai 2025' competition in Bishnupur

Bishnupur, November 09 2025: The Sangai First Foundation (SfF), successfully organised a student competition titled "Yarou Sangai 2025" on Sunday at the auditorium of Bishnupur Higher Secondary School.

The event served as a preevent for the upcoming 2nd Sangai Day 2025, with the aimed to foster awareness, creativity, and responsibility among students toward the conservation of the Sangai - the pride and symbol of Manipur's natural heritage.

A total of 93 students from various schools across Bishnupur District actively took part in the event.

Participants competed in three categories - "As You Like" (Poem or Essay), Written Quiz, and Painting Competition, all centered on the common theme "Our Sangai" .

A panel of reputed and eminent jury members meticulously evaluated the performances of the participants.

Winners will be formally announced during the celebration of the 2nd Sangai Day on December 10 at the Sangai Ethnic Park, Moirang Khunou.

The SfF extended heartfelt appreciation to the ZEO Bishnupur, officials, the Principal and staff of Bishnupur Higher Secondary School, participating students, jury members, and volunteers of Green Brigade, Manipur, for their contributions to the event's success.
