Imphal, July 06 2025: A 20-day workshop cum production of "Dashavatar & Jayadev" organised by Guru Ibempishak Cultural Academy (GIPCA) concluded today at Aribam Mandap, Uripok Khumanthem Leikai.

The closing function was graced by dignitaries, including Yumnam Joykumar Singh, retired DGP and former Deputy Chief Minister; Leimapokpam Lakpati Singh, Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee and advisor of GIPCA; and Thokchom Ibohal Singh, Hanjaba (Pung), Shree Shree Govindaji Pala Loishang.

Speaking on the occasion, Y Joykumar said, "Manipur has a rich repository of traditions and arts.

The State is best introduced to the world through its rich performing arts & culture" .

He also stressed on the need to safeguard and promote the indigenous culture and traditions of the State so that its legacy will be carried forth to the coming generations for a strong and developed society.
