Foundation day celebrated

Moirang, May 04 2025: Apunba TengbangLup(ATL)Toubul,an apex body of 12 Clubs and 12 Meira Paibi units of Toubul Gram Panchayat celebrated its 2nd foundationdaytoday.

It was attended by Thoubal district former Up-Adhyaksha, Takhellambam Nungshi, Apunba Tengbang Lup Toubul president, Thoudam Shyamsundar, Ngaikhong Khullen Zilla Parishad, former member Th Bira, Ngaikhong Khullen Zilla Parishad, Administrative Committee member Kh Sanamatum, Toubul Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee, chairman Th Ningthemani as presidium members.

As part of the event, the gatherings observed a one-minute silence in honour of those martyrs who have lost their lives in the ongoing violence and Late Mani Khuman, who played an active role for the welfare of the people of Toubul Gram Panchayat Cultural dance performance by Kabui Meira Paibi, entertainment programme by Toubul Meira Paibi and Acrobatic show by the IASDO were the main highlights of the programme.

Later as part of the event meritorious students of the gram Panchayat, youths who have attained success in various fields were honoured and felicitated by presenting gifts as encouragement for their achievements.

The event also honoured the 12 Meira Paibi units of Toubul in recognition for their remarkable role played in the ongoing crisis in the State.
