Sapta Shakti Sangam 2025 highlights women's empowerment at Ningthoukhong

The Vidya Bharati Shiksha Vikash Samiti, Manipur successfully organised "Sapta Shakti Sangam - 2025" on Sunday at Bal Vidya Mandir, Ningthoukhong, focusing on empowering women through the celebration of their seven divine qualities - Fame (Glory), Wealth (Prosperity), Speech, Memory, Intellect (Wisdom), Patience (Perseverance), and Forgiveness.
The programme featured insightful discussions on topics such as "Rights and Duties of Women in the Indian Constitution", "Role of Women in Present Society", "Women in Skill Development", and "Promotion of Swadeshi" .
Subject experts who addressed the gathering included W Lata Devi, president of Bishnupur District Bar Association; A Velirpati, Assistant Professor, Mangolnganbi College Ningthoukhong; RK Pumima Devi, National Awardee in Women Skill Development; Khulem Memtombi Devi, Principal of CC Higher Secondary School; and Haobam Iswari Devi, State Secretary of the Shiksha Vikash Samiti (SVS), Manipur.
Around 50 women participants from diverse fields attended the programme.
The event featured interactive discussions and competitions to encourage dialogue, learning, and mutual inspiration among participants.
The programme concluded with a collective call to strengthen women's leadership in education, culture, and self-reliance, reaffirming their indispensable role in the progress and well-being of society.
