Village Action Plans framed during special Gram Sabhas held in CCpur, Noney and Chandel

As part of the implementation of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, Special Gram Sabhas were held at M Songgel village under Tuibong Block and Elim Veng under Lamka South Block, Churachandpur District, Manipur on October 2, 2025.During the proceedings, both villages formally declared and adopted the approved Tribal Village Vision 2030, outlining village-level priorities aligned with Viksit Bharat@2047 .
The communities also approved their respective Village Action Plans (VAPs).
Each village has established an Adi Sewa Kendra�a single-window citizen service centre where residents will contribute Adi Sewa Samay, a weekly hour of voluntary service.

To facilitate seamless communication, the Adi Vaani App, an Al-enabled multilingual platform, will connect government officers with tribal communities in their native languages.
The VAPs are the result of a series of participatory exercises, including Transect Walks, Resource Mapping, and Manpower Mapping, conducted under the Abhiyan by a dedicated district team comprising District Master Trainers, Block Officials, Block Master Trainers, and the partner NGO.
These activities were carried out in close collaboration with Village Representatives, Adi Sathis, Adi Sahyogis, and local volunteers.
The plans offer a comprehensive snapshot of the current village landscape, identifying strengths, challenges, and areas of underdevelopment.
They lay out strategic roadmaps for achieving the projected vision by 2030, aligning community aspirations with targeted interventions.
Key focus areas include agriculture, health, education, entrepreneurship, and welfare.
The programme was attended by representatives from the District and Block Administration, UDCRMS, Village Authorities, Adi Sathis, Adi Sahyogis, and community volunteers.

A special Gram Sabha meeting was convened today at Longmai Village, Noney District in connection with Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan - Responsive Governance Programme under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
The Village Action Plan Longmai under the Tribal Village Vision 2030 Declaration was approved by the Gram Sabha during the meeting.
The DM Action Points of the Plan include mapping of CSO personnel involved at Block/Village level, identification of Adi Sahiyogi & Adi Saathi, detailed village wise scheduling, block level orientation via BPL, village vision exercise with focus on village vision table etc.
Housing for all, pucca houses for houseless families, clean water & sanitation, livelihood & security, education, road connectivity, other infrastructure such as street lighting and community are also part of the Action Plan.
The announcement of the Village Action Plan Longmai was announced by Kasaigai Gangmei, Longmai Village Authority Chairman, in the presence of village volunteers.
Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan Programme aims at building a Vikshit Bharat through a cadre of 2 million committed change leaders.
Stiff Khapudang, District Nodal Officer DAJGUA & AKA; HL Christian Home, Block Nodal Officer and Sheikh Aslam Khan, SDC Noney were also present during the meeting.
CHANDEL
A special Gram Sabha meeting was convened on Thursday at Monsang Pantha Village Community Hall, Chandel district in connection with Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan - Responsive Governance Programme under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
The initiative carries the mission of transforming the village into a model village by the year 2030.Speaking in this connection, ADC Chief Executive Officer and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chandel, Mohammad Firoz highlighted that the Village Action Plan of Monsang under the Tribal Village Vision 2030 Declaration was formally approved by the Gram Sabha, during a meeting convened in the presence of DLOs and village authorities.
Firoz emphasized that the central objective of the scheme is to transform every tribal village into a "responsive village" as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He added that the scheme would integrate key departments including Health, Education, Rural Development, Agriculture, Forest, ICDS and PHED to ensure holistic progress.
The meeting was also attended by village chief of Monsang Pantha Ng Vincent; PHED Dept EE Khamba Maring, District Agriculture Officer Chandel, SP Lovejoy, among others.
