Imphal, November 02 2025: A book titled "Amuktang Laklabadi" written by Sudhiranjan Moirangthem was released today in a function held at the auditorium of DIPR in Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal.

The book release function organised by Fiction & Poetry Club, Manipur was graced by dignitaries, including Dr Moirangthem Priyobrata Singh, retired Principal, Imphal College; Thoudam Netrajit, president, Fiction & Poetry Club Manipur; and Prof Nahakpam Aruna, former Dean, School of Humanities, Manipur University.

Similarly, a book titled "Ehool" written by renowned writer Ng Malemnganbi was Distribution" programme at Arapti Awang Leikai Tanakha Khong Ariba Mapan today.

The programme was graced by L Rameshwor Meetei, MLA, Keirao AC; Th Joykumar, president, YDA; W Birchandra, exChairperson, Kyamgei Muslim Arapti GP; T Ibohal, Lecturer, TG Higher Secondary School; and Kh Chandrababu, president, UADCOC as presidium members.

During the programme, gifts were presented to meritorious students of Urup-Arapti area who secured more than 70 percent in this year's Class X & XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE.

Manipur Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi; Sagolsem Bilashini, president, IMAKHOL; and Thingbaijam Swarankumar Singh, president, AMMIK Bishnupur Centre as presidium members.

During the function, Prof Wahengbam Kumari Chanu gave a brief review & introduction of the book.

Notably, Ng Malemnganbi is a lifetime member of IMAKHOL .
