Landslide area inspected

Imphal, June 29 2025: Accompanied by officials of PWD, Forest and Water Resources Department, Lamlai AC MLA Kh Ibomcha inspected a landslide site at Thumbi Ching located between Takhel and Sanjenbam along Tinsid Road. The landslide happened along a road with a steep slope where levelling work was ongoing.

In the midst of their work, a landslide occurred as earth debris slid downhill and landed on the road.

The MLA took out the inspection as the landslide hindered the levelling work and inconvenienced commuters.

During the visit, MLA Kh Ibomcha instructed the officials to take up the necessary steps to allow the ongoing work to be completed and alleviate public suffering.
