Three student-produced documentaries screened at MSFDS

Imphal, October 28 2025: Under the banner of "Many Voices Many Worlds", three student-produced documentaries were screened at the auditorium hall of Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Palace Gate.

The screening was organised by the Department of Mass Communication, Manipur University in association with MSFDS.

The student-produced documentaries screened today include "Khongjomnubi" directed by Laimujam Johnson with a run time of 35-minutes; Yambem Bishan directed "Sisters on Saddle" with a run time of 43 minute and the 40 minute long "Sinai Chei" directed by Bobby Thokchom.

The event was attended by Sunzu Bachaspatimayum, secretary, MSFDS as the chief guest; Dr Nongmaithem Rohinkanta Singh, HoD, Department of Mass Communication, MU as the functional president and Alexander Leo Pou, former Director, Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI); Nongpoknganda Yambem, president, MUSU 2025-26 and retired IAS Dr RK Nimai as the guests of honour.
