RBCFM submits memorandum

The Rajarshi Bhagya Chandra Cultural Foundation Manipur (RBCFM) has submitted a memorandum to the Governor urging him to take immediate action to restore peace & normalcy in Manipur.
The memorandum was submitted on Wednesday to the Secretary to the Governor through the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West District.
In the memorandum, the RBCFM highlighted that the foundation has organised many cultural activities at various places in and outside the State including foreign countries.
"We had plans to visit Agartala, Tirupati and Mathura to perform cultural activities in connection with the death anniversary of the Rajarshi.
But, we are not able to move /travel freely on the National Highways due to the ongoing conflict.
Even our journalists were also restricted by the security force and advised to remove the word 'Manipur' from the Manipur State Transport Buses.
Keeping in view of the circumstances, we are very reluctant to carry out various activities effectively & efficiently", it added.
The RBCFM also urged the Governor to take immediate and necessary measures to restore normalcy in Manipur at the earliest.
