Imphal, April 28: Demanding unconditional release of the three persons claimed to be innocent namely Brojen, Deban and Sachi who have been arrested by the police commandos from Cheiraoching on April 13, protest demonstrations continued to be staged at different parts of the State today.

At Thoubal Wangmataba Parking, Khunai Kanba Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, Thoubal joined hands with other women organisations of the area in staging the protest demonstration from 11 am to 4 pm today.

At Sawombung Chingarel Tejpur in Imphal East District, the protest demonstration was staged under the aegis of Poirei Apunba Leimarol Meira Paibi.

Tribal women of the area participated in the protest demonstration staged near Shija Hospital here, Langol Lamkhai Apunba Nupi Lup organised the protest demonstration demanding to stop State terrorism and immediate release Brojen, Deban and Sachi unconditionally.

Ching-Tam Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Lup joined hands with Meira Paibi bodies of Lairenkabi area in staging the demonstration there from 11 am to 4 pm.

Womenfolk from surrounding areas like Phayeng, Lambal, Heibongpokpi, Sanjenbam, Lamlongei, Tera Urak, Lairen Sajik, Koutruk, Singda, Kadangban, Thongkhong, Kangchup Chingkhong and Chiru village also participated in the protest demonstration.
