Imphal, October 20 2025: The State-Level Kala Utsav 2025 concluded yesterday with a colourful closing function held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA), Imphal.

The event, organised by the Department of Education (S), Government of Manipur, under Samagra Shiksha, showcased the artistic brilliance of students from across the State.

Ng Bhogendra Meitei, State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Manipur, graced the ceremony as the chief guest and lauded the students and teachers for their enthusiasm and creative excellence.

He noted that despite financial constraints, Manipur continues to display immense artistic potential and has earned recognition from the Ministry of Education for its strong representation at the national level.

He further announced that the National Kala Utsav 2025 will be held in Pune this November, where the State winners will represent Manipur.

This year's event also featured a traditional martial arts segment, highlighting the State's dedication to preserving indigenous art forms.

The programme was also attended by Khumukcham Reena, Additional State Project Director, and Bobby Singh Moirangthem, Finance Controller, Samagra Shiksha Manipur, along with other officials.

The winners of each category will represent Manipur at the National Kala Utsav 2025 in Pune, showcasing the State's cultural richness and youthful creativity.
