Meritorious students feted

Thoubal, May 18 2025: Slopeland Public School, Khongjom organised a felicitation ceremony today at the seminar hall of the institute to honour and felicitate the meritorious students of the school who secured good marks in the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), 2024-25 conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) .

The felicitation ceremony was attended by School Management Committee, chairman Nahakpam Babulin Meitei, School Manager, Durgesh Sharma and School principal, Nahakpam Chinglemba as presidium members.

Speaking at the event, the School chairman, .Babulin Meitei said that the school was able to 100% 1st divisioners for the academic year 2024-25 in the AISSE and AISSCE examination conducted by the CBSE due to the effort of the teachers, staff and students.

The outstanding achievers of the AISSE Class X examination includes, Veron Nongthombam scoring 97% securing the highest mark for Manipur State, A Krishnamaya Devi scoring 83% and N Dayananda Singh scoring 81.8 % .

The outstanding achievers in the AISSCE Class XII examination includes Kh Avinandan Singh scoring 86%, Chitralaxmi Tekcham scoring 80.4% and Heikrujam Pumima securing 79.4% .

Meanwhile, 8th position holder of Higher Secondary Examination, 2025, Nira Laishram daughter of Laishram Rameshwar and Leitanthem Mirabai of Thoubal Kshetrileikai was honoured and felicitated today by Taru-Khongnang Youth Organization and Taru-Khongnang Meira Paibi in a simple event held at Taru-Khongnang Community Hall, Thoubal Kshetri Leikai.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by Ex-servicemen, Maibam Natum, Asem Iboton and Veteran Musician, Irom Iboton as presidium members.
