Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Sinpham Amadi Saktam Kanba Lup provides aid to relief camps

Jiribam, July 13 2024: In continuation of providing humanitarian assistance to displaced victims taking shelter in various relief camps in Jiribam district, representatives of Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Sinpham amadi Saktam Kanba Lup visited the relief camps and extended aid by providing relief and essential items to these camps.

Speaking to media persons in connection with the initiative, Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Sinpham amadi Saktam Kanba Lup president Kshetrimayum Shanti said that they came to meet the displaced victims of Jiribam who have been rendered homeless in the recent flare-up of violence so as to extend aid and support to them amid this challenging phase.

'We have contributed whatever we could to provide aid to the displaced people who have been compelled to take refuge in these relief centres', she said.

Expressing dismay to see the pitiable conditions of the displaced people, she assured that the Government authorities will be apprised of the grievances of the displaced people.

It may be noted that a team comprising 25 members of the women's body has come to Jiribam to meet the displaced people and extend aid to them.

Acknowledging the plights of these displaced people, many have been providing all forms of possible aid to them to alleviate their hardships amid these tough times.
