Seminar on "Civil Services Careers" held at DM University

Imphal, May 09 2026: A seminar on "Civil Services as a Career Opportunity" was successfully conducted today at the hall of DM College of Commerce, Dhanamanjuri (DM) University, Imphal.

The seminar was organised by DM University in collaboration with the Civil Services Achievers' Point (CSAP) IAS Academy.

The seminar aimed to guide aspiring students from Manipur and the wider Northeast region on navigating the competitive path to the civil services.

The session was led by Rajdeep Lekharu, founder & director of the CSAP IAS Academy and alumni of Assam Engineering College & IIM Kashipur.

Rajdeep Lekharu provided detailed insights into strategic preparation, including syllabus breakdowns and effective study techniques for the UPSC examinations.

He shared his experience as a mentor, noting that his guidance has contributed to the success of over 650 civil service officers over the past decade.

A significant portion of the discussion centered on the unique challenges faced by students in the Northeast and the growing opportunities for them within the national administrative framework.

The seminar emphasized that the youth of Manipur are not just the future of the State but a vital part of the Nation's growth.

Aspirants were encouraged to maintain dedication and consistency, leveraging the specialized coaching and guidance now increasingly available in the region.

The event concluded with a strong message of encouragement, urging students to pursue careers in administrative, police, and foreign services to contribute directly to the development of the State and the country.
