Felicitation ceremonies held at various places

Imphal, November 02 2025: Naharol Shintha Kanglup (NSK) on Sunday organised a "Meritorious Award & Felicitation Progamme" for students who secured good marks in Class X & XII examinations at NSK Multipurpose Community Hall in Wangkhei Keithel Ashangbi.

The programme was graced by dignitaries, including Thokchom Satyabrata Singh, Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly; Khumanthem Shyamkeshwor, advisor, NSK; Lourembam Kishworjit Singh, retired Director, Art & Culture, Manipur; Dr Ranjita Achom, Associate Professor, Surgery, JNIMS; and Mayengbam Sanatomba, president, NSK.

Delivering the keynote address, NSK secretary Maibam Sherjit said that the programme was conducted to honour meritorious students and other achievers for the year 2022-25.He shared that apart from other achievers, a total of 65 students who secured good marks in Class X & XII examinations were honoured with momento, bouquet and cash awards.

Moreover, Youth Development Association (YDA) in collaboration with Urup-Arapti Development Coordinating Committee (UADCOC) also organised the "6th Meritorious Prize Distribution" programme at Arapti Awang Leikai Tanakha Khong Ariba Mapan today.

The programme was graced by L Rameshwor Meetei, MLA, Keirao AC; Th Joykumar, president, YDA; W Birchandra, exChairperson, Kyamgei Muslim Arapti GP; T Ibohal, Lecturer, TG Higher Secondary School; and Kh Chandrababu, president, UADCOC as presidium members.

During the programme, gifts were presented to meritorious students of Urup-Arapti area who secured more than 70 percent in this year's Class X & XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE .
