Meritorious students of Thoubal district feted

Royal Academy School today organised a felicitation ceremony to honour the meritorious students of the Academy who secured good marks in the Higher Secondary Examination, 2025 conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).
The simple felicitation ceremony attended by the faculties, students and parents was graced by Principal, Tongbram Babulal and Vice-president, Ahongshangba Jikendra as presidium members.
During the ceremony, 14th position holder in Science stream, Sunika Chanu Ahongshangbam of Lamding Loupat Leikai, 16th position holder, Ningthoujam Linthoi Chanu of Wangbal Mayai Leikai, 20th position holder, Aribam Danish of Phundrei Awang Leikai and 26 other students who received Inspired Awards were honoured with cash prizes, certificates, traditional shawls and other gifts as encouragement for their achievements.
Out of the 260 students who appeared, 258 students passed in first division including 2 position holders and another 2 students passed in 2nd division.
A total of 110 students passed out with distinction and 119 students secured letter marks in different subjects.
Meanwhile, the Women's Income Generation Centre (WIGC) Thoubal in collaboration with Advocate Leishangthem Roshmani Memorial Trust (ALMT), Sagolband and The Agasti Cultural Academy Thoubal also organised a felicitation ceremony to honoured the 1 st position holder in Arts stream, Keisham Hannah Devi of Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham.
The felicitation ceremony held at WIGC Hall, Thoubal Wangmataba was attended by WIGC founder secretary, Oinam Indira Devi, ALMRT director, Sapam Sumalata Devi and L Pramodini, president of The Agasti Cultural Academy.
During the ceremony, Keisham Hannah was honoured with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 along with a memento, citation, and gifts for her achievement.
