15-day long DAJGUA campaign concludes

Kpi/Non/Tpl/Spt, June 30 2025: The 15-day long nationwide campaign of Dharti Aaaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign concluded today with events held across the hill districts of the State.

KANGPOKPI

The 15-days DAJGUA awareness and benefits saturation camp was successfully concluded today at Leplen UJB School under Lhungtin sub-division.

The event was organised and supervised by BDO, Samuel Misao, with the aim of empowering and uplifting the tribal communities in the region.

The camp covered T Gamnom, Molkon, C Aisan, Leplen and Dongsum Tinpibung, providing them with various resources and information regarding Government schemes and programs for their development.

Additionally, a saturation camp was also organized at T Khullen village under the supervision of SDC Lunlenmoi Vaiphei, further enhancing the reach of the event.

It is worth mentioning that the campaign was inaugurated by Mahesh Chaudhari, Deputy Commissioner of Kangpokpi at Hengbung village on June 16 and was subsequently carried out in 17 different locations, covering 59 villages across three Assembly Constituencies.

NONEY

The 15-days DAJGUA campaign came to a conclusion today at Haochong Subdivision Headquarter in Noney District.

HL Christian Home, SDO/BDO, Haochong Block and other 13 Line departments of Noney District joined today's concluding programme.

HL Christian Home while addressing the gathering emphasized to promote holistic and sustainable development of tribal areas and communities through saturation of critical gaps in social infrastructure, health, education, and livelihood and appeal to all the DAJGUA villagers to make use of the opportunity and get the maximum benefit from the Government.

He also appealed to the gathering to approach the concerned line department and SDO BDO office to address their grievances.

It may be mentioned that the said 15 days programme for Noney District was launched by Noney DC, Sharath Chandra Arroju on Jun 16 at Longmai Multi Purpose Hall in Noney District Headquarter where more than 15 different lines department under Noney district participated and educated the beneficiary on several schemes.

During the 15 days campaign, the DAJGUA IEC camp was held across the four different Sub-division in Noney district which are Khoupum, Longmai, Nungba and Haochong in different village community hall that includes, Longmai, Nungba, Nungnang, Dollang, Khumji, Khoupum and Haochong.

TENGNOUPAL

The 15-day long campaign of DAJGUA - Awareness and Benefit Saturation campaign in respect of Tengnoupal district concluded today at Sita Village, Tengnoupal Sub-Division with a programme of Beneficiary Saturation campaign and EEC campaign (Painting competition and awareness).

The programme was attended by SDO/BDO Tengnoupal, Md Naztnul Huda Khan, Chief of Sita village along with District Level Officers from various line departments and about 300 locals of Sita village.

The beneficiary saturation campaign and IEC campaign has been organized at eleven identified villages across Tengnoupal district.

Approximately fifteen thousand villagers have been covered and thousands of locals availed the services and benefited from the National campaign.

During the campaign, officials from line departments opened over 150 stalls and delivered instant services of registration and various schemes under different departments.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness about various welfare schemes under the DAJGUA initiative and to ensure saturation of benefits reaches to all eligible beneficiaries.

Mentioned may be that the campaign in respect of Tengnoupal district was launched by Saurabh Yadav, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Tengnoupal on June 16, 2025 at DC office complex.

SENAPATI

The 15 days nationwide IEC Campaign of PM-DAJGUA saturation drive, concludes successfully today at Community Hall near BDO/ SDO Office Complex for Purul TD Block, Senapati.

During the programme, the Block Development Officer of Purul, S Lunguiba Thangal, MCS, welcomed the gathering at the IEC campaign launched by the District Administration, Senapati and stated on its objective to ensure coverage of every eligible tribal household through various schemes and services under PM DAJGUA through dissemination of correct information, education, and communication to the villagers.

He also urged the eligible villagers to bring relevant documents and apply to the concerned department for availing welfare schemes.

The BDO also highlighted on various welfare schemes and informed that 2 projects within Purul Block at Oinam Hill High School and Purul Higher Secondary School on 100 bedded hostel (50 for boys & 50 for girls) has been approved under PM DAJGUA through the initiative of District Administration, Senapati and Education Department, Government of Manipur.

In today's campaign, a total of 20 department stalls including BDO Purul were set up for the public to avail various services and address their grievances.

It may be mentioned that the IEC campaign of PM-DAJGUA saturation drive in the district began after the Deputy Commissioner of Senapati Mamoni Doley, IAS launched on June 16, 2025 at Katomei Community Hall followed by programme conducted at the block level by the respective Block Development Officers (BDOs) in the district As part of the campaign, the District Administration, Senapati also flagged off the IEC mobile campaign on June 17, 2025 at Mini Secretariat Complex, Senapati to reach out to the remotest and far-flung villages of the district - particularly those unable to participate in tire cluster-level campaigns as a proactive step towards ensuring inclusive awareness and outreach on the ongoing PM DAJGUA Program.
