One-day awarenesss camps on CMHT and AB-PMJAY conducted in CCpur

The District Implementation Unit (DIU), Churachandpur, in collaboration with the State Health Agency, Manipur, organised a one-day awareness campaign on the Chief Minister's Health Schemes-Chief Ministergi Hakselgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) today.
As part of the outreach initiative, awareness camps were held at two remote locations - Mata IFCD Relief Centre and Lanva TD Block Relief Centre in Churachandpur subdivision, aimed at educating the public on the benefits of the healthcare schemes.
During the campaign, Jenny Paite, Auditor, (CMHT/AB-PMJAY), briefed the gathering on the dos and don'ts of using scheme cards, card updation processes, eligibility criteria, enrolment procedures, and the documents required for obtaining CMHT and AB-PMJAY cards.
She urged to the attendees, to carry necessary documents such as Aadhaar and IDP identification cards for enrolment and advised them to complete card registration prior to hospital admission to ensure hassle-free treatment.
Highlighting the benefits of the schemes, she spoke about the provision of cashless treatment coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year at empanelled hospitals for eligible beneficiaries, especially targeting poor and vulnerable sections.
The District Implementation Unit (DIU) has undertaken several proactive initiatives under AB-PMJAY to ensure maximum coverage among eligible citizens, particularly those from marginalized and vulnerable communities.
The awareness campaign is set to continue across various sub-divisions of Churachandpur district till April 7.The programme was attended by CMO/Member Secretary, Dr Vanlalkungi(DIU); Jenny Paite, Auditor, (CMHT/AB-PMJAY), District coordinator, Thuamkhanlian Ngaihte (CMHT/AB-PMJAY), S Thangmuanlal (PMAM) and inmates of the relief camps.
