Imphal, October 28 2025: The 41st foundation day of All Kyamgei Nupi Chaokhat Thourang Lup was held today at Ibudhou Khagemba Macha Ibungo Laibung, Kiyamgei.

The foundation day celebration began with an offering of floral tribute to the portraits of deceased founder members and members of the All Kyamgei Nupi Chaokhat Thourang Lup.

Speaking as the chief guest of the function, Keirao AC MLA L Rameshwar lauded the role and contributions of womenfolk in social issues of the State and expressed hope of their continued dedication in future issues including the election of a competent people's representative.

On the occasion, he said that despite being blessed with natural resources, the absence of able leadership is responsible for the lack of development and progress in Manipur.

Highlighting the important role of womenfolk in electing an able and competent leader, he added that Keirao AC has witnessed some progress due to the contributions of womenfolk of the area.

The MLA added that he is indebted to them.

The event was attended by PICK convenor Chingakham Meghachandra; Moirangthem Sobita Chanu, president, All Kyamgei Nupi Chaokhat Thourang Lup; Thokchom Bhanisana Devi, chief advisor; Waikhom Mera Singh, Art and Culture retd Deputy Director and former president of Kyamgei Khagemba Youth Club; Karam Kulabidhu Singh, retd Deputy Director, Agriculture; Koijam Subhas Meitei, Chairman, Kyatmgei Gram Panchayat and Sandham Gandharaj Meitei, president, Khagemba Committee, Kyamgei as presidium members.
