MY Bharat IE conducts NMBA 2026 competitions

Imphal, July 28 2026: MY Bharat, Imphal East, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, successfully organised the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2026 competitions at The Modem College, Imphal East on Monday with participation from more than 300 students and youth from schools and colleges across the district.

The event, held in collaboration with The Modem College, IQAC, NCC and NSS Unit I and II, featured competitions in Debate, Street Play, Slam Poetry, Painting, Song, Dance, Slogan Writing and Reels Making to promote the message "Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life".

Gagarin Thoudam of DM College of Arts won first prize in Debate, while the Modem College Team secured the top spot in Street Play.

In Slam Poetry, Lumthei Shatsang of Maria Montessori School emerged winner.

The Painting competition was jointly won by Daulas Lambamayum of Imphal Art College and Seram Jairaj Meitei of Nongpok Maheikol.

Th Nitish of CC Higher Secondary School won in Song, Bellina and her team from Ananda Higher Secondary School won in Dance, and Mayengbam Mangal Singh of CC Higher Secondary School bagged first prize in Slogan Writing.

MY Bharat, Imphal East congratulated all winners and participants for their enthusiastic involvement and reiterated its commitment to empowering youth and strengthening the campaign for a Drug-Free India.
