Meritorious students feted

Thoubal, May 27 2025: A felicitation ceremony to honour the meritorious students of the recently declared Class X and XII examinations was organised today at Ema Ayangleima Panthoibi Community Hall, Terapishak.

Organised by the Apunba Terapishak Chaokhat Thourang Lup, ATCTL Terapishak, the event was graced by Social worker and Lamyanba Enterprises proprietor, Dr Elangbam Amitkumar as chief guest, ATCTL president, Huidrom Shyamson Mangang as president, Ema Ayangleima Panthoibi Thougallup, selungba Huidrom Biren, MU Asst Professor, Wahengbam Subashchandra along with local guardians as the guests of honour.

At the ceremony, three students from Terapishak area who have secured positions in the Class XII examination, Elangbam Yohenba, Elangbam Manganleima and Elangbam Bikash along with those students who have secured good marks were honour and felicitated with cash prizes, mementos, traditional shawls and citations as encouragement for their achievements.

Meanwhile, Tentha Khunou Development Association (TKDA) on May 25 organised a felicitation ceremony title "Tentha Khunou Meritorious Award" to honour the meritorious students of Tentha Khonou who have secured positions and those who have passed in first division with high marks.

The felicitation held at Ikop Ningthou Community Hall was attended by former Minister, Dr M Nara Singh as chief guest, TKDA president, Akoijam Lalmohon Singh as functional president, Pangambam Shantikumar Singh, ADC Kakching, Dr Salam Himika Devi, guest faculty, Dept of Life Sciences (Zoology) MU and Ksh Priyobarta, social worker as guests of honour.

M Subol Singh, chairman Tentha GP and Nongthombam Nilakamal Singh, member Tentha GP also attended the event as special invitees.

At the event, 23 meritorious students of Tentha Khunou who have secured good marks in the Class X and XII examinations conducted by the BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE were honoured and felicitated.
