Pherzawl/CCpur, August 26 2025: The District Administration of Pherzawl and Churachandpur on Monday launched the district-level Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan with orientation programmes held at the respective Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall.

In Pherzawl the meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl, Mannuamching, who outlined the vision and objectives of the Abhiyan, describing it as a transformative mission aimed at empowering grassroots governance, strengthening last-mile service delivery and ensuring real-time grievance redressal in tribal regions.

Joel G Haokip, ADC and District Nodal Officer for Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan offered strategic insights into the district's strategic roadmap for effective implementation.

The DC further highlighted that Pherzawl district has already completed nomination of District Master Trainers, Block Nodal Officers and Block Master Trainers for full-scale roll-out of the flagship programme.

Officials including SDOs, DLOs and representatives from various line departments participated in the meeting.

The nation-wide initiative aims to impact over 1 lakh tribal-dominated villages, building a network of 20 lakh change leaders across 550 districts in 30 States and Union Territories.

Similarly, the District Administration of Churachandpur organised the launch-cum-orientation program of Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, at Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall, Churachandpur, marking a significant milestone of the initiative of the district authority.

A flagship initiative by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, aimed to empower tribal communities through responsive governance and capacitybuilding.

The initiative aligns with flagship programs like PM-JANMAN and DAJGUA, by fostering community engagement, promoting sustainable development, promising brighter future for tribal people of the district of Churachandpur.

Thangboi Gangte, ADC, Churachandpur, led the launching program with an inspiring address, highlighting the future prospects of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan for the district and delivering a comprehensive presentation through PowerPoint, effectively outlining the initiative vision and objectives to the participants.

The program was attended by SDOs, DLOs and officials from the government.
