NSF felicitates Dy CM Losii Dikho, Naga leaders call for peace in Manipur

Imphal, March 18 2026:
The Naga Students' Federation (NSF) organised a felicitation programme at Classic Grande, Imphal, honouring Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Dr Losii Dikho, who holds the PHED & Forest & Environment portfolios.
The programme was attended by several prominent leaders, including Ram Muivah, Komu Sha, NPHMR secretary general Dr Neingulo Krome, former NSF leaders, members of the federation's executive council, and representatives of various Naga organisations.
Speaking at the event, NSF president Mteisuding lauded Dikho's leadership and his continued support to the apex Naga students' body.

He stated that the felicitation was organised to acknowledge Dikho's contributions and to encourage his efforts in promoting peace and harmony among different communities in Manipur.
Dikho is also associated with the construction committee of the NSF's Naga Oking complex in Kohima.
Dr Krome spoke on the prevailing situation of the Nagas, stressing the need for unity and renewed commitment towards shared goals.
He described Dikho as "a candle in the darkness," commending his humility and leadership qualities.
He further urged Naga communities to bridge divides and contribute to peace-building efforts amid ongoing challenges.
MLA Komu Sha called for collective support for Dikho in his initiatives aimed at restoring peace in the State, noting that his leadership has received recognition by the Central Government In his acceptance speech, Deputy CM Losii Dikho expressed gratitude for the honour and acknowledged the responsibility entrusted to him.
He stated that peace-building remains a key priority and assured that he would work diligently to meet the expectations of the people.
He also highlighted Manipur's potential in sectors such as sports, education, healthcare, filmmaking, and other fields.
He also expressed gratitude to the NSF team for such a gesture to organise the felicitation programme.
Later in the day, the NSF team called on Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand at his office, expressing confidence in his leadership and discussing issues concerning the Naga community.
