State Level Painting Competition marks Prime Minister's 75th birthday

Imphal, November 15 2025: To commemorate the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, North East Zone, Narendra Modi Vichar Manch (NMVM), organised a State Level Painting Competition at Hao Ground, Singjamei yesterday on the theme, "Schemes & Initiative Launched by Prime Minister" .

The competition was conducted in four categories for students from Class II-XII .

The inaugural ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Thoidingjam Tombi Singh, Lalit Kala Akademi Awardee; Ngangbam Robert Singh, president, North East Zone, NMVM; and Ravi Chanakya, president, NMVM; Nirmal Vald, advisor, NMVM; and Shefali, general secretary, NMVM.

The event received generous support from prominent organisations, including MANIDCO, MSPDCL, MSPCL, and MTDCL.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Singjamei AC MLA Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Ngangbam Robert Singh and Ravi Chanakya as presidium members.

Winners of the competition in the order of merit are-

Senior category- Ayekpam Richa, Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1;
Pheedam Sinam, Ramakrishna Mission School; and Brikrama Lourembam, The Comprehensive School.

Junior category- Nongmaithem Korounganba, Heritage Convent; and Sanahen Oinam, Pitambara English School.

Sub-Junior category- Loushambam Obed Singh, SL Arena of Learning; Akriti Nameirakpam, Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1; and Khwairakpam Tomthin Singh, UNACCO .

Pre-Junior category- Artemesia Thongam, Little Flower School; Tansileena Sougaijam, Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1; and Angamba Khoibam, Tiny Tot's School.
