Imphal, June 15 2025: In connection with the 14th death anniversary of Senior Advocate Sarungbam Jayanta Singh, a seminar was conducted today at Destitute Children Home, Tera Keithel on the topic, "Rule of Law" .

The seminar organised by the S Jayanta Singh Law Firm was attended by Sarungbam Ongbi Jibanmala, wife of Late Sarungba Jayanta and Destitute Children Home's administrator Ayekpam Wanglen as presidium members.

Addressing the gathering as a guest speaker, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Manipur's Acting President, Th Saimon said, "The rule of law signifies that all individuals and institutions, including the Government, are accountable to and governed by the laws that are fairly & equally enforced" .

He asserted that the rule of law ensures that no one is above the law and everyone is subject to the same legal standards.

S Jayanta- Law Firm's founder Ngangom Joytindra Luwang said that over the years, the firm has been providing humanitarian assistance to Children Homes in the memory of Late Sarungbam Jayanta.

"As part of this initiative, today's programme was organised to support the children staying at the home and educate them about the Rule of Law", he added.
