Har Ghar Tiranga campaign sweeps across State with patriotic fervour

Bishnupur/Kakching/Chandel/Thoubal, August 14 2025: Ina powerful display of unity and nationalism, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign continued across the State, drawing enthusiastic participation from schools, Government Departments, and the public.

BISHNUPUR

In Bishnupur, Deputy Commissioner Pooja Elangbam, today flagged off the Har Ghar Tiranga Rally from Block Lamkhai.

The rally culminated at the Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur.

DC Pooja Elangbam, ADM Bishnupur T Opendro, District Level Officers, officials from various departments, and volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Bishnupur participated in the rally organised by District Administration Bishnupur.

Speaking to the media, the DC stated that the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is being actively implemented across the district, reflecting the district's commitment to nurturing a spirit of nationalism.

All the line departments of the district are taking part in the campaign from day one, she added.

Across the district, schools under Zonal Education Zone IV have been conducting a variety of activities since the start of the campaign, including rakhi making, rangoli competitions, zonal-level quizzes, and drawing contests.

Utlou Govt Model Higher Secondary School also held a unique rally featuring a long stretch of tricoloured fabric.

Under the Division Forest Office, Range Forest Offices marked the occasion by distributing saplings to the public and carrying out roadside tree plantations, including along Sendra Road.

The Moirang Municipal Council also joined the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign today through a social service drive in and around Moirang town and nearby tourist spots.

Other line departments and their officials too actively participated by hoisting the national flag at their homes and offices.

KAKCHING

As part of the nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga", various institutions across Kakching district enthusiastically participated in a series of events to mark the occasion.

Led by the ZEO Kakching, students and staff of Pallel High School, Pallel Junior High School, Pallel Maningching Primary School and the Pioneer English School, Pallel took part in a spirited Tiranga Rally.

The rally flagged off by ZEO Kakching M Rakesh, saw around 300 students marching with the National Flag through the streets of Pallel.

In connection with the campaign, the ZEO Kakching also organised a zonal-level quiz competition at Kakching Hr Sec School, where more than 100 students from various institutions of the Kakching area competed in the competition.

The campaign was also observed at the office of the Kakching Municipal Council and Child Welfare Committee Kakching.

CHANDEL

The Chandel District Police, under the command of SP Chandel, Dharmendra Kumar, organised the Har Ghar Tiranga' programme on Wednesday at the Chandel district headquarters, celebrating the spirit of patriotism and national unity.

As part of the event, a vibrant bike rally was also conducted, commencing from the Women's Market, Japhou and concluding at Liwa Sarei.

THOUBAL

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, students and teachers of Evergreen Flower School, Thoubal Ningombam, organised a spirited rally to mark Independence Day and promote the National Flag's significance.

The rally began from the school campus, with students and staff carrying the Tricolour and covering a section of the MI Road before returning to the school grounds.

Meanwhile, the 66 Bn CRPF, under the aegis of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2025, also organised a Tiranga Rally in collaboration with the students of New Era Hr Sec School, Thoubal.

The event, graced by Commandant 66th Bn CRPF, Anup Kr Sahu, 2IC Ops Suresh, Adl SP (Ops) Devendra, and other senior officers of CRPF, civil police and teachers, saw enthusiastic participation from around 800 school children.
