Kakching, October 10 2025: In the 2027 elections, the Congress party is well-prepared to field candidates who will not wait around for Centre's command, are ready to tackle State issues and bring resolutions, said MLA K Ranjit.

He made the assertion while accusing the BJP of failing to produce a single legislator who will succinctly convey the grave condition of the State to the Centre and bring about a resolution of the conflict.

The MLA was speaking at the launch of the Congress party's nationwide "Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhor" signature campaign in Hiyanglam AC organised by Hiyanglam Block Congress Committee and held at the residence of former MLA of Hiyanglam AC Elangbam Dwijamani at Hiaynglam Awang Leikai.

The launching event was attended by CLP leader Okram Ibobi; Khundrakpam AC MLA Th Lokeshwar; MPCC former president M Okendro; former MLA Kh Loken, former MLA Fajur Rahim and other notable leaders of the party.

Speaking at the event, MLA K Ranjit went on to say that the "cowardice" and "incompetence" of BJP MLAs is a source of shame to all legislators before the public.

"The Central leaders view the people of Manipur and its legislators as insects.

That's why the MLAs currently in Delhi are unable to get an audience with the high command", he said.

Under such circumstances, he questioned what "lies" the BJP MLAs will spin once they return to Manipur.

They launched the Go To Hills campaign and delayed the ADC elections and shouted Go To Village and delayed PRI elections for more than 2 years.

In the same way, the people will be deceived again, said K Ranjit.

As such, he urged the people of Manipur to teach a lesson to the BJP in the 2027 elections.

On the other hand, he assured that the Congress party will field candidates who are in touch with the people's sentiment and have the ability to deal with pertinent issues.

Thus, he sought the public's support to help save Manipur which has been brought to "ruin" by the BJP .
