Imphal, November 08 2025: The 48th PNTMI Vedaoyu Niih 2025, Fresher's Meet, organised by the Poumai Tsiidoumai Me Imphal (PNTMI), under the leadership of president Rokhu D and executives was celebrated today at Amity Hall, Adimjati Shiksha Ashram.

The Poumai community in Imphal came together under the theme "Celebrate, Connect, Create" .

The event was graced by MLA of 47-Karong Assembly Constituency, J Komu Sha as the chief guest and Shelehu Pao, Manager, RBI (Grade B Officer), as the guest of honour.

The occasion also witnessed the presence of esteemed leaders and representatives from PNUI, PNNMI, MYSOI, ACTSUI, TKLI, and PNTMI members from various units across the Imphal area.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA J Komu Sha emphasised the importance of unity and purpose, describing family as the first and foremost institute in shaping an individual's character and values.

He urged everyone never to forget their family, to live in harmony, and to extend support to one another.

Thomas Taishya, President of PNUI and president of PNNMI, M Talitha delivered speeches on the occasion.

The celebration was attended by around 400 people from Imphal area.

Mister and Miss Freshers of PNTMI 2025 were crowned in the later part of the event.

As a mark of respect and reverence, the gathering, led by president Rokhu, observed a standing ovation and a minute of silence in honour of Late KS Daikho Tony, advisor of PNTMI.

Bringing the event to a lively close, an exciting raffle draw was held, featuring grand prize packages.
