Pherzawl bids farewell to DC Mannuamching

Pherzawl, June 02 2026: The District Administration of Pherzawl today accorded a warm and emotional farewell to Deputy Commissioner Mannuamching, at a function held in the Conference Hall of the DC Office.

Attended by district-level officers and staff, the programme highlighted her impactful tenure and dedicated service to the district.

Speaking on behalf of the administration, Additional Deputy Commissioner Zosanglur Joute expressed deep appreciation for her leadership and contributions to Pherzawl's development, while wishing her success in her new role.

Senior officials, including Superintendent of Police T Lalboi Haokip, CEO Churachandpur Shokhongam Baite, Divisional Forest Officer Niangthianhoi, and SDO Vangai Lalthanzam, shared their experiences and lauded her professionalism, commitment, and people-centric approach.

In her farewell address, Mannuamching thanked the officers and staff for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout her tenure.

She emphasized that public servants must remain adaptable and committed to serving wherever assigned, carrying out their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.

Reflecting on key achievements, she highlighted the opening of two bank branches in the district-marking a significant step forward for Pherzawl, which had long been identified as an unbanked district.

She urged officials to ensure sustained support for strengthening banking activities.

She further stressed the need to continue improving education and road connectivity, calling for collective efforts to accelerate the district's overall development.

Mannuamching has been transferred and will assume charge as Special Secretary (Finance) and Secretary, Government of Manipur.

This was her second tenure as Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl, having previously served in the district in 2019 .
