Imphal, July 01 2025: Four samples each from Imphal East and Imphal West were tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday pushing the cumulative number of positive cases to 263 .

With eight samples confirmed positive out of 43 samples subjected to COVID-19 test, today's positivity rate stands at 18.6 per cent.

However, Imphal East recorded a positivity rate of 57.1 per cent as four out of seven samples were confirmed positive.

Imphal West registered a positivity rate of 14.3 per cent with four out of 28 samples tested positive.

Meanwhile, the cumulative number of discharged cases has reached 171 after 13 COVID-19 infected people were discharged today following recovery.

At present, there are 92 active cases and 87 of them are in home isolation.
