6 Health Centres inaugurated

Imphal, March 10 2018:
Health Minister L Jayantakumar Singh today inaugurated 6(Six) different Health Centres in the State.
He also laid the foundation stone for 3 (three) different Health centres including a sub-district hospital.
He also inaugurated the operation theatre block of CHC Mao.
After the inauguration of newly constructed PHSC building at Keithemanbi under Kangpokpi district, Jayantakumar inaugurated PHC Tadubi and PHC Phaibung at the campus of PHC Tadubi.
Speaking as chief guest at the inaugural function of PHSC Keithelmanbi in which Social Welfare Minister Nemcha Kipgen took part as functional president, he said that the newly constructed PHSC building now belongs to the people of Keithelmanbi.
This new initiative of the present Government will at least provide basic minimum health care facilities to the people.
After inaugurating the Keithelmanbi PHSC, Jayantakumar inaugurated PHC buildings at Tadubi and Phaibung.
He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of CHC Tadubi and also PHC Makhan Centre.
At PHC Tadubi he said that the credit for having such improved health facilities in the region goes to the public.
He appealed the people to co-operate with the Government and added that people should also consider these properties as their own.
The inaugural and the foundation laying function was attended by Fisheries Minister N.Kayisii as functional president and PHD Minister L Dikho as guest of honour.
Deputy Commissioner Senapati, CMO Senapati, Addl.
Director Health, Village Chiefs, community leaders and health staff were also present at the function.
At the function held at CHC Mao, Minister Jayantakumar along with Minister L.Dikho inaugurated the Operation Theatre (OT) block of CHC/ SDH, Mao, PHSC Chawainu, Mao.
He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of Sub-District Hospital, Mao.
Speaking at the occasion minister Jayantakumar said that the government will take up necessary steps to fulfill the needs of the people especially in health sector.
The government is also planning to provide required Doctors and Staffs as soon as possible in the interest of the public, he added.
Giving presidential speech minister L Dikho said that conversion of CHC to sub-district hospital is like a dream come true.
He appreciated the Minister concerned for his timely action.
He also appealed the public to utilise the
facility with care.
