Imphal, November 05 2019:
A JAC against the killing of one R Lunglailu of Chingmeirong Kabui village has warned the family members of Lunglailu, who are allegedly involved in the crime, against returning back to the locality.
Speaking to media persons at Chingmeirong Kabui Khulyai community hall today, convenor of the JAC Panti Golmei said that Lunglailu was found dead on May 2017 at her husband's residence.
The JAC asserted that Lunglailu's husband Inaocha along with her brother-in law and sister-in-law Jiten and Ashalata respectively expressed, in the local dailies on October 20, that their house was demolished by a mob and now they are attempting to return back to their house.
This is a insult to the people of Manipur and Chingmeirong, added the convenor while warning that they will not be allowed to come back.
The convenor continued that a resolution adopted in a public meeting organised by the JAC on May 15, 2017 along with other CSOs like Poirei Leimarol, AMKIL, CIRCA, CLK, AMUCO, LOUSAL, NIPCO, ZU Imphal Zone, Kanglamei, Kabui Mothers Association etc, banned the family members from entering the locality permanently.
