Imphal, May 28 2025: The Lamkang Students' Union (Lamkang Kurchuknao Kunpun) has congratulated Darpol Sankhil Tuisang for his achievements as a football player including his role in successfully defending the Swami Vivekananda Men's U20 National Football Championship 2025 title.

Congratulating the football player bom to Moses Sankhil of Thamlapokpi village in Chandel, the Union shared in a press release that Delhi FC won their final match (4-2) against Mizoram in the championship.

During the semi final, Darpol scored one of the goals (4-0) to secure Delhi FC's win against Sports Authority of India (SAI) .

"To win the U20 National Football Championship (NFC) title twice consecutively is nothing sort of a miracle both for Delhi FC as a team and also Darpol Sankhil Tuisang as an individual player", said the Union.

Delhi FC won the inaugural edition of the tournament in May 2024, where Darpol scored the winning goal.

This year, a total of 35 teams split into 8 groups competed in the tournament from April 10 till its final on May 27, 2025 at RK Mission Ashrama Ground, Narainpur.

Darpol is currently signed to Sudeva Delhi FC.

The Union has wished the very best to Darpol Sankhil Tuisang in his football career.
