JCFDP Nachou felicitates meritorious students, Wushu gold medallist

Moirang, July 26 2026: The Joint Committee for Felicitation of Distinct Personalities (JCFDP), Nachou, organised its 8th annual felicitation ceremony at Nachou Bazar Mandop on Sunday to honour meritorious students who excelled in the Class X and XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE, along with N Pamheiba, who won gold medal at the 10th World Junior Wushu Championship.

The programme was attended by Nachou GP Administrative Committee chairman N Jadu, JCFDP president N Debah, social scientist Dhanabir Laishram and Bishnupur Public School principal O Chinglemba as presidium members.

Eight meritorious students from Nachou village, along with N Pamheiba, were felicitated with gifts, cash awards and certificates in recognition of their achievements.

Floral tributes were also paid to the portrait of late Takhellambam Thambalsana, a permanent donor of JCFDP Nachou.

Social scientist Dhanabir Laishram, who attended the event as a resource person, delivered a motivational speech, encouraging the students from various schools to work hard, remain focused and develop the qualities needed to achieve success in life.

The presidium members also advised the students to maintain good moral character, remain dedicated to their studies and strive for greater achievements in their future endeavours.
