"Culture with Nature" painting competition conducted

Imphal, July 14 2025: As part of the celebration of the 77th Foundation Day of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the ABVP Singjamei Unit in collaboration with Rashtriya Kala Manch (RKM), Manipur, successfully organised a painting competition today at Unacco College, Khongman under the theme, "Culture with Nature" .

As per a release issued by ABVP Manipur, the event saw enthusiastic participation from 70 students representing 29 schools across the region, who creatively expressed their thoughts and ideas through art, beautifully merging cultural identity with environmental consciousness.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including Naorem Ajitkumar Singh, principal in-charge, Unacco College; Victoria Salam, national coconvenor, RKM; and Pinubala Laishram, state joint secretary, ABVP Manipur.

During the ceremony, the dignitaries encouraged the young minds to pursue their creative interests and highlighted the importance of connecting youth to culture & nature through art.

Winners of the painting competition are- Brikrama Lourembam of The Comprehensive School, Oinam (1st position), Sanahen Oinam of Pitambara English School (2nd) and Khundrakpam Chinglembi Chanu of SL Arena of Learning (3rd) .

Winners of consolation prize are- Seram Jairaj Meitei of Nongpok Maheikol, Angela Heikhrujam of Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Lamphelpat, Keithellakpam Jina Devi of Ratankumar Memorial School, Leimapokpam Arbin Meitei of Mother's Pride Academy Bishnupur, Korou Khuman of CC Higher Secondary School, Pahelli Nongthombam of Unacco School Khongman, and Konjengbam Milky Devi of Mother's Pride Academy Bishnupur.

ABVP Manipur extended heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants for their impressive artistic expressions and enthusiastic participation.

The event not only celebrated ABVP's foundation but also provided a meaningful platform for students to showcase their talent and awareness of cultural and ecological values.
