Principal denies AIMS's allegations

Principal of Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School M Kheroda has denied allegations of irregularities in Class XI admissions made by Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS), stating that the process was conducted properly.
Speaking to the media at the school premises at Uripok today, she clarified that no student who didn't participate in the entrance examination was admitted to the Science stream in Class XI, contrary to AIMS's allegations.
The Principal said the allegation raised by AIMS regarding the school's admission process is unfortunate.
She further stated that an admission notification for the 2025-26 academic session, covering Science, Arts, and Commerce streams, was published in various newspapers on May 12.Kheroda continued that the school didn't conduct an entrance test for the Commerce stream with 50 seats, but did hold entrance exams for Arts and Science streams, with eligibility criteria and details specified in the admission notification.
She added that the admission notification clearly stated that students with over 80 per cent marks in Class X examination and students of Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School who passed Class X were exempted from entrance exams for Arts and Science streams and could secure admission directly.
Describing AIMS's allegations as baseless, the Principal appealed to everyone to refrain from misrepresenting the school.
She also sought support from the people in nurturing more talented students.
