Public auction of communication stores on December 8

Imphal, December 02 2025: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Sector Headquarters (SHQ), Border Security Force (BSF) Counter Insurgency (Operations) is set to hold a public auction of communication stores on Decembers, 2025 at 11 am at the SHQ BSF CI (Ops) Manipur campus in Koirengei.

The auction will be conducted on behalf of the President of India.

As per the BSF auction notice, all interested authorized bidders or parties may attend the auction.

It stated that participants are required to register themselves with the DIG, SHQ BSF CI (Ops) Manipur at least one hour before the auction begins.

Each bidder must deposit an earnest money of Rs 10,000 only in cash prior to the commencement of the auction.

The amount will either be adjusted or refunded after the finalisation of the auction, it mentioned.

Bidders must carry valid residential address proof and PAN Card or GSTIN and unauthorised persons will not be allowed to offer bids.

It further stated that the stores will be auctioned strictly on an "as is where is basis" and the final bidder must deposit the total cost of the stores on the spot and arrange for immediate lifting of the items at his own expense, as no transport facility will be provided by the BSF .

Failure to do so will attract ground rent at prevailing market rates, it added.

The notice went on to state that if the purchaser fails to lift the stores from the auction site within the stipulated time, ground rent will be levied for up to 10 days, after which the earnest money deposited by him will be forfeited and the stores will be re-auctioned.
