DC Bishnupur joins Indian Army felicitation of Manipur Super-50 students

In an inspiring ceremony held today, 44 students out of 50 trained at the Red Shield Centre for Excellence and Wellness (Manipur Super 50) in Bishnupur district, Manipur, were felicitated for successfully clearing the JEE and NEET 2025 examinations.
The event organised by Indian Army was graced by Pooja Elangbam, Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur; Senior Army officials from Red Shield Division, Amarjeet, Additional Superintendent of Police and Dr Rohit Shrivastava, Director of National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NEIDO) .
The ceremony was also attended by the students, their parents, and well-wishers, who came together to celebrate the hard-earned success of these bright young minds.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, congratulated the students on their accomplishments and expressed her appreciation for the initiative taken by the Indian Army and the dedicated staff of NEIDO, who have invested their time and resources in imparting quality education.
She emphasized that the students' success is a testament to their dedication and hard work.
At the same time, she reminded them that greater challenges lie ahead and encouraged them to never stop striving for excellence.
Pooja Elangbam also urged the students to support others in whatever way they can - to reach out, give back, and contribute meaningfully to society.
She highlighted the importance of being kind, cherishing every moment of learning, and growing into individuals who bring positive change to the society.
She wished all the students for continued success and encouraged them to strive to reach their highest potential in their chosen fields.
Manipur Super 50, is an initiative supported by the Indian Army in collaboration with National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) aimed at providing free, high-quality coaching, mentorship and resources to talented students from underprivileged backgrounds in Manipur.
This dedicated support has empowered many students to secure admissions in premier medical and engineering institutes across the country, transforming their aspirations into reality.
Mention may be made that 6 out of these students cleared both NEET and JEE examinations.
While 18 students appeared for JEE, 13 passed and out of 41 students who appeared for NEET, 37 passed.
Amongst these students is Master Shri Philem Jenin Singh who is one of the Manipur state NEET Toppers with 97.06 percentile marks.
During the ceremony, Army and Civil Administration officials congratulated the successful students and interacted warmly with their parents, acknowledging the sacrifices and support provided by families.
Prizes were presented to the achievers as a token of appreciation and encouragement.
Parents expressed deep gratitude to the Indian Army for nurturing and guiding their children, particularly amidst the socio-economic challenges faced in the region.
