Library and Information Centre Kakching organized 20th Annual Award Presentation function to honour meritorious students, commendable sportspersons, admirable teachers, worthy farmers, and other individuals who have excelled in their respective field at Auditorium of Library and Information Centre Kakching at Phoushupat Leikai Kakching today.
During the function, Governors Award (Kakching Library Award), Phanjoubam Gourahari Singh Awards, Kshetrimayum Sanajaoba Singh & Amureima Devi Awards, Kshetrimayum Ibohal Singh Awards, Kshetrimayum Kullachandra Singh & Shija Devi Awards, Naorem Ganga Singh Award, Yengkhom Yaima Singh Medical Scholarships and Awards, Naorem Amuba Singh Teacher Award, Naorem Niranjoy Memorial Meritorious Awards, Moirangthem Toyaima Memorial Awards, Dr Kshetrimayum Ratan Singh Memorial Sports Awards, Yengkhom Nimai Singh Memorial awards, Oja Achouba Merit Awards, Naorem Bhubon Memorial Awards, Naorem Rakesh Commemorative Award, Nongmaithem Kokngang Singh & Maipak Devi Memorial Awards, Naorem Nilachandra Singh Memorial Awards, Yengkhom Ibochou Singh & Tanou Devi Best Manipuri Pony Farmer Award, Mayanglambam Mala Devi Memorial Awards and Yengkhom Angangyaima Singh Memorial Awards were conferred to the deserving candidates.
Governor's Award (Kakching Library Award) conferred to the topper of High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2018 was presented to Yaiphabi Mayengbam, student of Little Flower School Imphal d/o Ngangbam Ibetombi and Mayengbam Monokanta of Sagolband Tera Lukram Leirak while a cash prize of Rs 10,000 along with citation was handed over to the student.
The award is sponsored by Governor of Manipur and public of Kakching.
Phanjoubam Gourahari Singh Awards conferred to topper of HSLC Exam 2018 from Kakching Centre was presented to 3rd position holder Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma of Padma Ratna English School Kakching s/o Dashuda and.
Ramananda of Kakching Moirangthem Leikai and 20th position holder Karong Reniwar Kom of Padma Ratna of English School Kakching d/o K Premila Kom and Binod Kom of Mantak Village while a cash prize of Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 and one citation each were handed over to the students.
The award is sponsored by Phanjoubam Trust, Imphal Kshetrimayum Sanajaoba Singh & Amureima Devi award went to Yengkhom Jivan Singh, MPS officer who have secured 16th rank in the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Exam 2017 conducted by MPSC.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 4000 and citation and was sponsored by Kshetrimayum Sharat Singh, Delhi.
Kshetrimayum Ibohal Singh Award was presented to toppers of B.Ed 2nd Year Examination 2017 conducted by Manipur University - Naorem Suraj Singh (Is' position), Mayanglambam Pushpa Devi (2nd position) and Kshetrimayum Krishnakumari (4th position).
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 5000, 2500 and 2500 and citations and was sponsored by Dr Nongmaithem Rajmuhon Singh, Dr Nongmaithem Rajendro Singh and Kshetrimayum Raghumani Singh, Kshetrimayum (o) Anita Devi Kakching.
Kshetrimayum Kulachandra Singh and Sija Devi Award which carries a cash prize of Rs 7500/7500 and citations sponsored by Ksh Kunjabi Singh, Chartered Accountant and his family to Selina Keisham of Comet School Changangei Uchekon who was topper in Science Stream of Higher Secondary Examination 2018 conducted by COHSEM and topper of Commerce stream Sagar Acharya of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Maram.
Naorem Ganga Singh Award was presented to Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma while Yengkhom Yaima Singh Medical Scholarships Naorem Sunanda Devi, Yengkhom Memita Devi, Dayananda Kshetrimayum and Pukhrambam Sachin Singh.
Yengkhom Yaima Singh Medical Award was handed over to Yengkhom Neelish, Shougaijam Goutamchandra, Kshetrimayum Sachindra, Moirangthem Menoka Devi, Kshetrimayum Ratana Devi, Kshetrimayum Neera Devi, Kshetrimayum Dayananda Singh, Kshetrimayum Soshiyarani Devi and Yengkhom Aakash Singh.
Naorem Amuba Singh Teacher Award went to Moirangthem Shanggai Singh while Niranjoy Memorial Meritorious Awards Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma, Huidrom Rohitkumar Meitei, Shamjetshabam Shrinivash, Karong Reniwar Kom.
Moirangthem Toyaima Memorial Award was conferred to Ningthoujam Radharani Devi while Dr Kshetrimayum Ratan Singh Memorial Sports Awards went to International Cyclist Mayanglambam Sonali Chanu.
Yengkhom Nimai Singh Memorial Award was presented to Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma and Karong Reniwar Kom while Oja Achouba Merit Awards was also conferred to Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma and Karong Reniwar Kom.
Naorem Bhubon Memorial Awards was conferred to Principal Kshetrimayum Godadhar Singh, Moirangthem Kripa Singh, Thokchom Bheigyachandra and Naorem Amuba Singh.
Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma and Karong Reniwar Kom were again honoured with Naorem Rakesh Commemorative Award while Nongmaithem Kokngang Singh & Maipak Devi Award went to Nongmaithem Gulapyaima Singh and Yengkhom (o) Mayanglambam Apikpi Devi.
Naorem Nilachandra Singh Memorial Award was received by Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma, Nongmaithem Bhagyaraj Singh and Naorem Sobash Singh while Yengkhom Ibochou and Tanou Devi Best Manipuri Pony Farmer Award went to Moirangthem Manihar.
Mayanglambam Mala Devi Memorial Awards was presented to Patel Lairenjam, Surjakanta Irengbam, Brahmacharimayum Balkrishna Sharma and Anjela Athokpam.
Yengkhom Angangyaima Singh Memorial Awards was received by Naorem Suzanna Devi, Nongmaithem Rajkumar Singh and Naorem Bronson Singh.
