Imphal, June 18 2025: In a defining step toward transforming India's applied research and innovation landscape, Dassault Systemes, a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and simulation technology, and Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), a pioneering institution in application-oriented education and R&D, today announced a strategic Technology and Innovation Partnership.

The collaboration will establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Advanced Product Development and Research on the RUAS campus in Bengaluru, said a release.

The Centre will serve as a cutting-edge technology and innovation hub for engineering design, simulation and nextgeneration research, powered by Dassault Systemes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

"This partnership marks a new era in academia-industry collaboration", said Dr MR Jayaram, Chancellor, MSRUAS and Chairman, Gokula Education Foundation.

"Together, we are creating a vibrant ecosystem of innovation, where faculty, students, researchers, and entrepreneurs work on real-world problems using global best-in-class tools", he added.

"With Dassault Systemes as our technology enabler, this collaboration positions RUAS as a national leader in advanced product innovation", said Dr KK Raina, VC, RUAS.

"It is deeply aligned with our commitment to produce industry-ready talent, high-impact research, and start up success", he added.

The partnership is anchored in five high-impact program areas- Skill development (CoE academics), Ramaiah accelerator, Research & innovation hub, Industry collaboration, and Technology partner across RUAS.

The partnership will deploy a structured calendar of faculty training, certification programs, and hands-on workshops led by Dassault-certified experts.

Training will take place across RUAS' Techno Centre, Skills Academy, RTBI, and Valdel Advanced Technologies, and will include: Live simulations and industry case studies, Peer learning and mentoring, Access to professional development and certification programs, and Real-world project work and industry engagement.

The CoE will be designed with high-resolution visual assets and aesthetic support from Dassault Systemes, creating a world-class physical and digital environment.

A Co-Branding Program will enhance global visibility through - Co-hosted innovation events and roadshows, Participation of RUAS faculty and leadership in Dassault Systemes forums, Joint press and media campaigns for maximum outreach, and Featured representation at Dassault's academic and industry platforms.
