Imphal, November 14 2025:
Khurai AC MLA L Susindro has criticized certain Government officials for their alleged condescending behaviour toward MLAs during the President's Rule regime, warning that these officials "will see" once a popular Government is formed.
He made the statement during an inauguration ceremony of an office building of Meitei Leima Village Level Federation at Top Khongnangkhong today.
Addressing the function, Susindro continued that some Government officials are looking down on the MLAs on account of the absence of a popular Government in Manipur.
He further stated that some Government officials do not pick up the phone when the MLAs call them.
These officials believe the MLAs will not return to power, he said, adding that these "high-handed officials" will be dealt with once a popular Government is formed.
Meanwhile, Susindro stated that the primary responsibility of elected representatives is to work for the welfare of the people and for development.
He also said that the BJP Government has taken up different initiatives to uplift the women.
"Let us do politics at the time of elections," he said, appealing to all concerned to refrain from politicizing every problem.
