Aid continues to pour in for flood victims

In the wake of severe flooding caused by the incessant rain, many organisations of the State stepped forward to support the flood affected victims.

In a bid to provide some relief and alleviate the problems caused by the devastating flood, the Heirok Apunba Club in collaboration with Heirok Apunba Meira Paibi have donated relief materials to the flood affected victims who are taking shelter at the Lamphel High School Relief Camp at Khurai Top Khongnang Makhong, and Heikrumakhong relief camp through Rohan Philem (cyclist).
The relief materials include, rice, edible oil, lentils, drinking water, food for childrens, etc.
The relief materials were donated by the residents of Heirok Meanwhile, Maqaami Jamiat Ulama bodies of Phouden, Wangkhem and Singa in collaboration with local clubs of the three villages have also stepped forward to help affected families of Khurai Konsam Leikai, Kairang Karong Masjid and Khabeisoi Khomidok by providing essential items and other relief materials.
BISHNUPUR
The Peace Committee Kangleipak has also reached out to the flood-affected families of Khurai Heikrumakhong Konsam Maning Leikai and Khomidok bazar temporary relief camp set up by the Madrasa Jamia Islamia.
The team of Peace Committee Kangleipak (Special Fifty), distributed the relief materials to 70 individuals of Khurai Heikrumakhong Konsam Maning Leikai and 65 individuals of Khomidok bazar relief camp.
Similarly, the Kumbi Ideal Youth Development Organisation (KIYDO), Kumbi has also distributed relief materials to the flood affected people who are taking shelter at Khurai and Heingang relief camps including the relief camps of Meitei Pangal.
The KIYDO also lauded Arambai Tenggol for their remarkable contribution in rescuing the flood affected victims during the flood crisis.
