Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has urged the meira paibees of the State to get ready for the third Nupilan.
In his greetings to meira paibees extended on the occasion of Meira Paibee Numit, Publicity Secretary of the proscribed outfit, T Leisemba stressed on the roles of womenfolk in the Manipuri society.
T Leisemba said that since the dawn of human civilization, it has become a universally accepted fact that women are often treated indifferently and suppressed in the male dominated society.
Though women shared equal responsibility in looking after families and actively participated in social activities, yet they are denied their rights in the male dominated societies, he said adding that even in this so-called modern civilization, their oppression, and suppression continues unabated and they are denied a dignified life and place in the society.
T Leishemba added that women are the symbol of motherhood without which it is well nigh impossible to establish a peaceful social order.
