A two-day workshop on "Brain Quest: A Logic & Technology" concluded today at Manipur Science Centre, Takyel.
The workshop was jointly organised by the Innovation Hub, Manipur Science Centre and Department of Science & Technology, Government of Manipur.
The closing function was graced by TD Kom, Joint Director, Directorate of Science & Technology; K Devendra, Headmaster, Mayanglangjing High School; and Chingakham Sachina, Director, Department of Science & Technology as presidium members.
The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students from different schools such as St Savio, KM Blooming Higher Secondary School and Dhananjoy Memorial English School.
Similarly, the AG Office Manipur under the aegis of CAG of India successfully conducted a 1-day workshop on "Quality Assurance in Divisional Accounts" at GM Hall, Imphal yesterday.
The workshop was graced by dignitaries, including Athikho Chalai, Principal Accountant General, Manipur; Chief Engineers Yumkhaibam Homendro, RK Deepangkar and Kiran Laishram.
The workshop included four sessions where experts spoke on the role of Divisional Accountant, ways to improve work accounts, IFMS, etc .
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Robert Moirangthem, Senior Deputy Accountant General.
Moreover, the Department of Dance & Music, Manipur University has successfully conducted a 2-Day National Seminar on "Bhakti Movement in Manipur (18th & 19th Centuries): Historial, Literacy and Cultural Perspective" at the Senate Hall, Manipur University, Imphal.
The seminar was organised in collaboration with Bharatiya Vidya Adhyayan Sansthan, New Delhi and Department of Sankirtana, Manipur University of Culture.
The seminar was graced by dignitaries, including Prof Nameirakpam Pramodini Devi, Dean, School of Humanities, MU; Prof Hanjabam Shukhadeva Sharma, Director, College Development Council, MU; Dr Ahanthem Homen Singh, Department of Indian Language & Literary Studies, University of Delhi; and Dr M Thoiba, Head, Department of Dance & Music, MU .
