Care Point Center celebrates Children's Day with great joy

CarePoint Center under the aegis of Nirvana Foundation organised a Children's Day celebration at its office in Kwakeithel Akham Leikai today to honour the laughter, creativity, and dreams of children.
The event brought together children, parents, staff and dignitaries to mark the special day with joy, performances, and motivational messages.
Sobhana Sorokhaibam, secretary, Nirvana Foundation; Thingbaijam Pavitra, District Child Protection Officer, Imphal West; Khundrakpam Nelson, Child Welfare Committee Member, Imphal West, grace the celebration as presidium members.
Delivering the welcome address, Roseyta Wangkheimayum, programme manager of Care Point Center, expressed gratitude to all the participants for their presence and highlighted the Center's ongoing work in education, nutrition, health support, and psychosocial care for vulnerable children and those children who are infected and affected by HIV.
As per a release issued by Care Point Center, the main objectives of the celebration are- to celebrate Children's Day by recognising the potential, dreams and resilience of every child; to create a positive, supportive and joyful space for vulnerable children; and to reaffirm the Care Point Center's continued commitment to providing care, safety, nutrition, counseling and opportunities for growth.
The event was marked by cultural activities and messages of encouragement from dignitaries emphasizing child rights, safety, and empowerment.
The programme strengthened the bond between children, caregivers and the wider support network.
It also reinforced the collective responsibility of ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for every child in Imphal West.
