MEELAL declares results of 19th Meetei Mayek competition

Imphal, August 14 2025: The Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillon Apunba Lup (MEELAL) has declared the results for the 19th Meetei Mayek competition held on August 3 last.

The competition witnessed participation from around 15,000 students at 35 different centres.

The event was conducted under 10 categories, covering students from Class I to Class X .

In Class I category, Yumnam Anish Singh of Ratan Kumar Memorial School, Shamukcham Shilibiya Devi of Mahei Shindam Shang English School and Kshetrimayum Henthoiba Singh of Kid's Brain Wave School came first, second and third positions respectively.

In Class II category, Thangjam Thoithoibi Devi of The Excellent Model Academy, Keisham Princy of Global School of Human Resources and Yumnam Bidya of Khuman Maheikol secured first, second and third positions respectively.

In Class III category, Albas Loitongbam of The Great Academy, Heikrujam Leisembi Chanu of Khuman Maheikol and Kongkham Princy Devi of Smart Universal Academy were adjudged first, second & third positions respectively.

In Class IV category, Deepashwory Thangjam of BM School of Excellent Learning, RK Sinbriya Devi of The Evergreen Flower School and Aliya Buyamayum bagged first, second & third positions respectively.

In Class V category, Sarangthem Ningthibi Chanu of KK Brilliant Academy, Moirangthem Adetya Singh of The Paradise Gardening School and Wahengbam Geetaroi Chany of Sanatombi Oriental English School won first, second & third positions respectively.

In Class VI category, Chesham Pharhana of SA Educational Institute, Pusham Sayista of Five Star English High School and Takhellambam Taniya Devi of LCM High School secured first, second & third positions respectively.

In Class VII category, Lembisana Haorongbam of Ratan Kumar Memorial School, Victoriya Sagolsem of Ratan Kumar Memorial School and Saikhom Sinthangambi Chanu of KM Blooming Higher Secondary School won first, second & third positions respectively.

In Class VIII category, Oinam Mangal Chanu of Sanatombi Oriental English School, Silliya Yengkhom of Pitambara English School and Tongbram Ratana Devi of Kid's Brain Wave School secured first, second & third positions respectively.

In Class IX category, Basheimayum Abrar Ushmani of The Great Academy, Ningthoujam Priyalaxmi Devi of New Public Higher Secondary School and Kshetrimayum Kriniya of Ratan Kumar Memorial School won first, second & third positions respectively.

In Class X category, Brendan Heikrujam of Ratan Kumar Memorial School, Sarangthem Saini Chanu of Brighter Academy and Thangjam Laxmi Chanu of Kid's Brain Wave School bagged first, second & third positions respectively.

Apart from the top three position holders, 10 students each from every category were chosen for consolation prizes.

1 student each from every category was also selected for Best Handwriting award.

The prizes will be distributed to all the 140 students during the Foundation Day celebration of MEELAL scheduled to be held at GM hall on August 18 .
