Schools in IE and IW set to re-open

Imphal, June 11 2025: Following abrief closure due to flooding and inclement weather, educational institutions across Imphal East and Imphal West districts will resume classes on June 12 (Thursday) .

The decision to open schools applies to all educational institutions in both districts, including Govt schools, Govt- aided institutions, and private schools.

All Zonal Educational Officers, Principals and Headmasters of the respective institutions have been asked to take all necessary precautionary measures and ensure that appropriate actions are taken for the safe and smooth reopening of schools.

Orders to this effect were issued by the respective Deputy Commissioners today.
